The Israeli military kidnaps eight Palestinian civilians from deferent parts of the W.B.

At lest eight civilians were kidnapped by the Israeli military on Monday during pre dawn invasions targeting deferent West Bank communities.

The invasions were reported in the cities of Nablus, Qalqlia, northern West Bank and Hebron and Ramallah, central and southern West Bank.


The Israeli army said that all kidnapped are on what the military calls "Wanted List". The army radio announced that all kidnapped were taken to military detention camps for questioning.

Infant dies in Gaza due to the Israeli siege, death toll reach 337

A Palestinian infant was reported dead on Monday afternoon after he was unable to leave the Gaza Strip for the life saving medical treatment he needed.

One year old, Mohamed Nufal, had hart failure; he needed medical car that Gaza hospitals were unable to provide him with because of the ongoing Israeli siege on Gaza. Israeli started its siege on Gaza in June 2007.

With Nufal death, death toll due to the Israeli siege now reaches 337, doctors in Gaza reported.

Virtually no one has been able to enter or leave the besieged coastal Strip, and supplies of needed medicines and equipment are rapidly dwindling in Gaza's hospitals and clinics.

Man loses leg after being shot at checkpoint on Saturday

A young Palestinian man was shot by Israeli soldiers at the Shave Shomeron checkpoint west of the Northern West Bank city of Nablus on Saturday evening.

The man was taken to a hospital in Nablus, where the medical staff ultimately proceeded to remove his leg. According to Palestinian medical sources there had been clashes by Palestinian youths and Israeli forces around the checkpoint at the time the young man was shot in his leg..

Youth wounded near Tubas

Palestinian medical sources reported on Sunday that a Palestinian youth was shot and wounded near a military roadblock installed at the eastern entrance of Tammoun village, near the West Bank city of Tubas.

The army said that the youth hurled stones at soldiers manning the roadblock.

Local sources reported that the soldiers installed a roadblock on Tammoun intersection, located on the main road between Nablus and Tubas.

Dozens of youth reportedly hurled stones at the soldiers who fired concussion grenades and rubber-coated metal bullets. One of the rubber-coated bullets struck the youth in the head.

The wounded youth was identified as Mahmoud Al Ayidi, 18. He was moved to a governmental hospital in the area, and his wounds were described as moderate.
